Drops of Inspiration and Creativity.

My brother, my mom, and I all had to clean up our house. So, right after we ate breakfast we did just that. As I walked into my brother’s room to drop something of, I notice my brother’s hamster cage was dirty. Since I knew my brother would probable forget to clean it, I decided to leaned both him and his hamsters a hand, and I cleaned up the cage.

It’s Random Act of Kindness Week!!!!  We must all remember to be kind to one another not just this week though, but we must be kind to all ever day!.   We must also must not forget to be kind to are animal friends as well. So be kind and help out. It can be as simple as giving some one water or cleaning up a cage! :)

Not too long ago, I was shopping at a small store with my mother and aunt. They bought large-round bowls that would help us when we made tamales. But, I bought a small white vase. It was decorated with the image of a sakura tree and a two birds perching in its branches. I was fond of its simple beauty the first time I saw it.

When I arrived home that day, I placed the vase next to the bottle I use for burning incense.  Both agreed with each other and no one overpowered the other.

A few days later, I picked some small purple and yellow flowers from my backyard. When I went into my room I place them in the vase, and I burned some incense sticks. My room became full of the sweet scent of the incense and the vase of flowers looked beautiful in the sun light. I smiled happily as my mother stepped into my room and said “ I don’t regret buying that vase.”

I fallowed close behind the warrior woman. She didn’t seem to mind my presences, for I kept quit behind her. Every now and then she would glance back to see if I still fallowed , and when she saw that I wasn’t going to leave she turned and faced me with her charming smile.

“What is your name little one?” she asked me while we walked together. I smiled happily up at her, excited to see she finally acknowledged my presences. “My name is Amaya!” I said with pride.

My sudden burst of pride amused her “Well, it’s nice to meet you Amaya,” She now focused her gaze on the road ahead, “I’m Usagi.”  I smiled delighted “Moon! Your name means moon!” she looked down at me and nodded. “What a beautiful name.” I said to myself as I looked at the road as well, and we continued to walk across the country side.

“You have a rather unique name.” Usagi said as she made a fire in the cold cave we were to camp in. I looked up at her, “Amaya…really?” I never knew the mean of my name, and I never search to see if it did have one. I didn’t think it meant anything. She nodded as she leaned against the wall. “It means night rain.”

I got up the courage and looked over at Usagi “Where are we going?” I asked nervously. She looked over at me from gazing at the fire, “To the land of never ending summer,”she closed her eyes slowly, “or Natsu noTochi.” I was surprised “What? But that’s just a bed time story, how can you say that place is real!” she grinned “do you know for a fact that is not real?” I lowered my head “no…but…it’s just a bed time story…right?” she opened her eyes and looked at me with eyes full of certainty, “It’s totally possible.”

Bare branches swaying,
In shivering cold air.
The Snow Covered Tree

Animals a sleep,
Hiding in its roots.
The Snow Covered Tree

Not a single chirp,
Little birds have gone north.
The Snow Covered Tree

But come spring and see,
A most grand sight,
Tis a miracle indeed.
For our snow covered tree,
Will be a grand sight to see.

Just wait and see,
The Snow Covered Tree.

Along the streets of the market place, whispers were being exchanged. “What is she doing here?” some said. Others just glared, but this didn’t seem to bother the warrior. She just held her head high and walked along the streets buying supplies.  She seemed so proud , I was envious.I wanted to be like her and be able to keep my head up high, while others look down at me, and not feel self conscious.

The warrior gazed behind her. ” It seems someone is fallowing me…” I could hear her whisper. I looked around, trying to see who it was she was talking about. Then I realized…she was talking about me!

She chuckled, then turned around to face me ” I knew you were fallowing me.” she said as she came closer to me. I must of looked shocked, because she continued to laugh. ” Dear child, are you as afraid of me as the others?” I immediately shook my head ” No,no! I am not I just wanted to….” I couldn’t say anymore, because to tell you the truth i didn’t know what i was doing.

The lady smiled kindly. ” You just wanted to what?” she asked as if she already knew the answer. Wait…i know what I wanted to do!  I thought. Then, I stood up straight and looked at her respectfully ” I wish to join you!” The lady was taken off guard. She sighed. ” Are you sure about that?”

A little girl is sitting peaceful on her porch while her little chubby dog plays in the grass before her. As she looks up at the sky, her mother steps outside and sits right next to her.

Mother: looks down at her small daughter whom is looking up at the sky. She smiles kindly. “What are you looking at little one?” she asks as she looks up at the sky as well.

Little Girl: smiles while still looking up “I watching the clouds become different things.” she replied not taking her eyes off of the sky.

Mother: looks down at her daughter. “What do you see?” she asked curiously.

Little Girl: “I see a hoarse, a palace, hmm I see a doggy, and uh I see a rabbit!”

Mother: chuckles quietly, “Wow! There are many things in the sky little one”

Little Girl: “uh huh!” stands up and reaches for the sky “You can see anything become a reality if you try hard enough mommy.” She said giggling, as her dog jumped up and down to get her attention.

Mother:  look back up at the sky “That’s right little one, all you need is hope and a little bit of imagination”

President Barack Obama Told the world that he would bring us all “change”. Obama brought change to us already, by being the first black president. But, when he stood in front of all of us and gave us his speech, he not only brought change , but he brought hope. That’s what I felt when I heard his powerful words. His promise of better times gives us a sense of importance and I believe that ,with Obama’s help , “Change” will happen.

Words fail you when you see how terrible Gaza’s cities look right now. Gaza is located north east of Egypt and west of Isreal. Gaza’s people are suffering left and right RIGHT now. The U.N or the United Nations are a group of people that want to help the suffering Gaza citizens. But, even they want to leave! Their works station were bombed, this meant that a lot of resources such as food and water were destroyed.

The reasons behind the attacks are suffering are just not right as well. It all started off with a rumor that stated that Gaza was going and was bombing parts of Israel. Those rumors caused all those bombings in Gaza. Israel even attacked a hospital! What is the sense in it all?

A group of reporters went into Gaza. They said at first there was little to see but plenty to hear. Trough out their stay, the reporters saw everything from people being badly wounded from bombs to demonstrations of hatred. It wasn’t very hard to understand why there was some much tension in the air in Gaza. But, could you blame them? I sure can’t.

” No one dares enter that forest” said the shop keeper to her husband. “I’ve heard that there is a wall covered in a bush of thorns that protects the hidden summer kingdom.” he replied quietly. The shop keeper chuckled; she knew how childish it was to believe in the summer kingdom. “That’s just a bedtime story” the shop keeper said as she went back to her work. The husband shrugged. He looked to his side and noticed someone playing attention to their story. It was a woman. She was dressed in old armor and her hair was the color of fire, it flowed down to her waist. He looked at her surprised “What would a rider be doing here in this small village?” he asked emotionless. She smiled, “just passing trough.” she said as she walked away. The old man could not be fold. “A rider being here so far away from the blessed lands is a very rare thing,” he whispered to himself. “I wonder what type of trouble she got herself into.” said the shop keeper who surprisingly heard his comment. The old man looked over to where the woman walked and thought, “I was thinking the same thing”

I was walking to my room to get something, and I noticed my mom was inside. She smiled up at me as I walked towards her. Then she handed me a small paper. My face must have looked confused because she soon after said, “It’s a quote. Read it.” I looked down at the small paper and it read “Just remember, you can do anything you set your mind to, but it takes action, perseverance, and facing you fears.” I then looked up at her and said “thanks mom”. I then went outside my room and thought about the quote for a while.

What do you think about the Quote?
